Geocache causes bomb scare in Niagara Falls

Box left by street lamp of Tourist Information CentreGeocaching hit a nerve in Niagara Falls Monday night when a real world treasure hunt was mistaken for a bomb, pulling Niagara Regional Police experts into action.The NRP explosive disposal unit was called to the parking lot of the Tourist Information Centre at Highway 420 and Stanley Avenue to investigate a suspicious package left in the parking lot.
